EdTech Europe is pleased to add three additional international speakers to our 2015 programme:
Maurice de Hond: Founder of the Steve Jobs School in the Netherlands
Dr. Nicos Nicolaou: Director of EDEX and Founder of UNICAF
These education influencers will share global perspectives about how they have each uniquely contributed to meaningful efforts to increase access to learning technologies for students worldwide.
Walter Bender will provide insight into his experiences at the MIT Media Lab, One Laptop per Child, and now Sugar Labs, the educational software provider used by more than 3 million children in 40 different countries.
Maurice de Hond will highlight how he established 22 schools across the Netherlands that focus on an iPad-centric curriculum collaborating with parents, students, and teachers to develop personalized learning plans.
Dr. Nicos Nicolaou, who has 25+ years of expertise establishing and managing higher education institutions across Asia, Africa, and Europe, will detail the creation of the largest online education and scholarship programme for students primarily in Sub-Saharan African countries.
