We are honoured to announce a partnership with WISE, the premier international platform dedicated to innovation and creative action in education. WISE will power a panel discussion as well as showcase three of their WISE Accelerator startups.
Established by Qatar Foundation, under the leadership of its chairperson, Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, WISE is an international, multi-sectoral platform promoting creative thinking, debate and purposeful action, through both an annual Summit, held in Qatar in November 2015, in addition to ongoing programmes.
The participation of WISE at the 2015 London summit will be the first collaboration within a deeper partnership between EdTech Europe and WISE; continuing with EdTech Europe powering a Venture Capital and Education session, featuring global EdTech investors, at the WISE summit in November 2015.
WISE will power a panel discussion analysing the hopes and challenges associated with local implementation versus global scaling of education technologies. The panel aims to explore questions related to considering both global and local elements when designing an EdTech project, issues with scalability and recommendations for growing a business while guaranteeing high-standard learning outcomes.
Moderated by Sebastien Turbot, Curator & Director of WISE, the panel will also feature Iris Lapinski, the CEO of Apps for Good, Diana Al-Dajani the Founder of eduTechnoz, and the CEO of Ideas Box, Jeremy Lachal.
